Rolling Green Tree Care has launched a partnership with San Bernardino Valley College’s extension program to open new career paths in the arboriculture industry. This initiative is designed to equip young people with the training, certification, and employment opportunities needed for a career in the green industry.

Empowering the Next Generation

The San Bernardino Valley College extension program offers a comprehensive 180-hour course that includes official certification.

Students are trained to work as “Ground Persons,” preparing them for a variety of arboriculture tasks, from handling specialized tools to managing on-ground safety protocols.

This course ensures that students gain essential skills and knowledge for success in this growing industry.

Rolling Green’s Commitment

Rolling Green Tree Care is committed to offering priority job interviews to graduates of this program, aiming to integrate these skilled professionals into our team.

Although Rolling Green does not directly participate in the training, we are dedicated to providing real employment opportunities, supporting the professional growth of these young individuals, and contributing to the stability of the arboriculture sector.

Building a Better Community

This collaboration is more than just a professional partnership; it’s a commitment to our community. By providing young people with stable, competitive career paths based on Local Union 47 wages, we aim to keep them focused on personal and professional growth.
